This is a highly client-facing role that blends tax expertise, relationship management, consultative business development, and strategic wealth planning.

You will work directly with qualified prospective clients, helping them understand complex planning opportunities, evaluate their options, and confidently move forward with the right advisory solutions. Convert qualified opportunities into advisory engagements through education, relationship building, and thoughtful guidance.

Quickly understand each client’s financial, tax, and personal circumstances to establish credibility and identify planning needs.

Explain sophisticated tax and wealth strategies in a way that helps clients understand their options, considerations, and potential outcomes.

Navigate questions and objections confidently while helping clients make informed decisions.

Build lasting relationships and identify opportunities to expand services as client needs evolve.

Coordinate with internal tax, wealth management, and planning professionals to create a smooth transition from initial engagement through implementation.

Maintain consistent follow-up and ownership of opportunities throughout the business development process.

Share client feedback and insights that help strengthen the firm’s sales process and overall client experience.

7+ years of experience working with HNW or UHNW clients in tax advisory, wealth management, financial planning, professional services, or consultative sales.

Strong understanding of individual, trust, and business tax returns and how planning strategies affect them.

Previous experience preparing or reviewing tax returns and a strong understanding of tax mechanics.

Demonstrated success in generating revenue, winning advisory engagements, or advancing business opportunities in a professional services environment.

Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Confidence in navigating complex and sensitive financial conversations with sophisticated clients.

CPA preferred. EA, JD, or LL.M credentials are also valued.

Experience within an RIA, tax advisory, wealth management, or professional services firm preferred.

Compensation Range

$150,000 to $200,000, depending on experience
