Description
A detail-oriented Sensory Scientist is needed to support sensory and consumer research within an on-site sensory center. This role involves leading research studies, managing daily panel operations, and ensuring that products meet high standards for both customers and consumers.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day sensory panel operations and scheduling, ensuring food safety and compliance
Design and execute sensory and consumer panel studies
Oversee descriptive analysis programs, including recruiting and training panelists
Analyze sensory data and clearly communicate results to internal and external stakeholders
Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, USDA, etc.)
Train and guide part-time team members on SOPs and sensory testing protocols
