This position is located in Ogden, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You’ll Get To Do:CAD design of special packaging for program deliverables to ensure proper transportability. This position will be a part of program design reviews.Work and collaborate with programs to review and buy off on Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRL's) and final program Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL's) and collection for delivery on schedule to the customer.Help train and interpret Military Standards in accordance with contracts and compliance in packaging designs to the Military standards.Work with multiple engineering teams to collaborate on packaging and storage requirements and design at multiple locations.Position Benefits:As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.Basic Qualifications:This position can be filled at Packaging Engineer(T2) or Principal Packaging Engineer(T3)Packaging Engineer: Bachelors of Science degree with 2 years of experience; a Masters degree with 0 years of work-related experience; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Secret clearanceExperience with CAD DesignMust be able to read and interpret CDRLsMust be able to read, interpret and train personnel on Military StandardsExperience with product design and/or packaging designPrincipal Packaging Engineer: Bachelors of Science degree with 5 years of experience; a Masters degree with 3 years of experience; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Secret clearanceExperience with CAD DesignMust be able to read and interpret CDRLsMust be able to read, interpret and train personnel on Military StandardsExperience with product design and/or packaging designPreferred Qualifications:Mechanical Engineering DegreeESD experienceTooling experience3D CAD experience2 years CPLM experience with full design review experience4 years CAD design experience in packaging2 years Military Standard ExperiencePrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
