Job description
Mutiny is a start-up growth agency—built and backed by folks with a whole lot of agency and in-house experience. We’re pattern breakers, focused on helping brands throw out their "same old" marketing playbook and find new ways to solve customer acquisition. Our clients work with Mutiny to get top-level strategy directly from experts. We help them organize their holistic growth plan and execute across media, creative and data. Quickly and efficiently.
We’re in the early stages of this Mutiny, so we’re looking for team members who want to work and think outside the box of a typical “job.” Talented individuals who are self-starters, able to lead client executions, and want to learn and grow quickly. Help us build something special.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work directly with our Founder and VP, Digital—to own SEO roadmaps, manage ongoing roadmap activities, proactively identify content and technical SEO gaps, strategize with clients, and deliver results.
This is a “get stuff done” role—as is every role at Mutiny. This role is responsible for leading strategy in collaboration with our experts and executing day-to-day management of client website strategy. We operate across multiple search functions—experience building landing page strategies, optimizing for AI results, copywriting, local SEO, and technical SEO is preferred.
What We’re Looking For
“Years of experience” may vary, but we’re looking for 3+ years of enterprise SEO experience at minimum. Tell us what you can do.
We’re open to part-time positions with experienced folks.
SEO Channel Expertise
Outside-the-box SEO thinking: understand when, why, and how to successfully stray from “SEO best practices” when the situation calls for it. We’re looking for real strategists, not box-checkers.
Proactively provide SEO strategic counsel to key client leaders across technical, content, UX, local, and AI search.
Specific strengths in on-page SEO, AI search, and copywriting are preferred.
Strong understanding of Product-Led SEO concepts is a bonus.
Stay on top of SEO trends and changing platforms.
SEO Strategy + Performance on Key Accounts
Develop strategies and deliverables across mid-market and enterprise SEO accounts.
Bring new, innovative SEO-based ideas to the table and help get clients excited about the long-term vision.
Show a strong understanding of the intersections between website information architecture, landing page UX, copywriting, paid search, PR, AI search, and SEO performance.
Demonstrate knowledge of SEO KPIs and how they connect to the overall SEO strategy and real business impact.
Other Areas of Contribution
Strong data skills: You understand tracking implementation, attribution, and how to make data usable
Strong knowledge of GA4 and Data Studio (other platforms useful)
Experience building and executing data-fueled U/X roadmaps and testing structures

Salary Range
Range is based on experience and level.
