Located in St. Joseph, Michigan, LECO continues to be a family-owned company that understands the value of shared interests, long-term stability, loyalty, and trust.Position Summary:This job is primarily located in the Western part of the United States and requires some domestic travel (50% to 75%). Good communications skills and willingness to work with a wide variety of our existing and new customers is required. LECO offers a teamwork-based work environment with opportunities for career growth, interaction with other engineering disciplines, and experiences with leading-edge technology.Position Responsibilities:Responsible for direct sales of all assigned products and related accessories / consumables for Separation ScienceTravel assigned territory in domestic USATerritory Location – within the Western Region including: Southern California, Utah, Arizona, Nevada and Alaska.Some overnight travel requiredReview and discuss LECO's product offeringsSales preparation and presentationsArrange and participate in sample demonstrationsAttend Trade Shows as requiredMaintain current customer relations management database for all activities involving customers and other LECO team membersAbility to generate quotations for products to customers. This requires an understanding of the technical information of the products you are responsible of selling.Position Requirements:Required to generate weekly Sales activity reports to submit to managementWork with Service / Applications / Technical Communications / Research & Development on customer issues, installations, samples, etc. as requiredReside within the territory.Education/Certifications:BS Degree preferably in Chemistry, Material Science, or other related disciplinesStrong oral and verbal communication skillsPrior field sales and/or lab experience would be a plusBasic understanding of GC/MS technology will be a plusAbility to work within the USA without restrictionsEOE M/F/VET/Disability
