Job DescriptionElia Taverna is looking for an experienced, friendly, and dependable server to join our team. We are a family-owned Greek/Mediterranean restaurant focused on providing high-quality food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Explain menu items and make recommendations when needed
Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
Check on guests throughout their meal and ensure a positive dining experience
Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
Process payments accurately
Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and other staff members
Follow restaurant service standards and health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous serving experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Positive attitude and professional appearance
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Ability to work well as part of a team
Knowledge of Greek/Mediterranean cuisine is a plus
