Service Account Manager | Remote (Central OR West Coast-based)
A global manufacturing company is seeking a Service Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with existing customers across the U.S. This is a 60% sales / 40% technical role focused on aftermarket revenue, including spare parts, service agreements, preventative maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
Compensation $75,00-85,000 base + 20% target incentive bonus
** Candidates must be base in central US OR West Coast **
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers
Proactively identify and convert aftermarket sales opportunities
Sell spare parts, service agreements, maintenance contracts, and equipment upgrades
Provide technical support and coordinate solutions for customer issues
Conduct regular customer visits, training, and presentations
Manage opportunities, quotes, and customer activity through CRM
Partner with internal sales and service teams to drive opportunities through to completion
Qualifications:
2–5+ years of experience in technical sales, field service, engineering, or a related role
Strong sales mentality with excellent customer-facing skills
Technical/engineering background preferred;
degree is a plus but not required
Experience in food & beverage, nutraceuticals, pharma, packaging, manufacturing, or similar industries preferred
Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel approximately 50% (6–8 customer visits/month)
