Main Shop Service Advisor

Pay: $1,200/week training pay; eventual transition to commission-based pay

J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is proud to be Georgia's oldest, continually owned and operated automobile dealership, serving Savannah and the surrounding communities since 1912. At our Statesboro location, we are seeking a Main Shop Service Advisor to join our team and serve as the primary point of contact for our service customers.
In this customer-facing role, you will own the service experience from start to finish. From greeting customers in the drive lane to coordinating service and explaining recommendations, you will ensure each customer feels informed, respected, and confident in the care of their vehicle. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, staying organized, and keeping things moving.
We welcome candidates with backgrounds in customer service, retail, hospitality, or the restaurant industry who are ready to learn and grow.
What You'll Do
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers in the service drive
• Coordinate and manage service appointments, walk-ins, and workflow to ensure efficient operations
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle status, recommended services, timelines, and next steps
• Write repair orders and explain the service process in a professional, customer-friendly manner
• Manage and distribute technician work efficiently to support productivity and timely service
• Take ownership of the customer experience by providing accurate, timely, and courteous support
• Work closely with technicians and service leadership to deliver consistent, high-quality results
