AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CONSULTANT
Panama City, Florida
Our locally owned automotive dealership is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Consultant to join our team!
If you enjoy working with people, have a passion for automobiles, and can provide exceptional customer service while keeping repairs organized and moving efficiently, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
* Greet customers and assist them with their vehicle repair and service needs
* Write and manage repair orders
* Communicate repair recommendations and updates clearly to customers
* Coordinate with technicians and the service department
* Contact and work with warranty companies and extended service contract providers
* Obtain authorization for covered repairs
* Collect customer payments and close repair orders
* Schedule appointments and follow up with customers
* Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information
* Help ensure every customer has a positive service experience
* Perform other duties as needed to support the service department
What We're Looking For:
* Automotive service or dealership experience preferred
* Franchise dealership experience is a plus, but NOT required
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Professional, friendly, and dependable attitude
* Strong organizational and follow-up skills
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable discussing vehicle repairs and costs with customers
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
