nWe are a family-owned European automotive repair shop in San Antonio looking for an experienced Service Advisor / Shop Manager who can lead the team, take care of customers, and help grow the business.
nThis is not just a service-writing position. We are looking for someone with proven experience in an independent automotive repair shop who can manage day-to-day operations, develop employees, increase sales, and create a great customer experience.
nWhat You Will Do
nManage the daily shop workflow and schedule
nLead and develop technicians and our junior Service Advisor
nBuild and present repair estimates
nManage customer expectations and communicate repair progress
nOrder parts and coordinate vendors
nReview inspections and technician recommendations
nFollow up on pending and declined work
nKeep technicians productive and work moving efficiently
nHandle customer concerns professionally
nHelp grow sales while maintaining trust and quality
nUse Tekmetric for estimates, workflow, communication, scheduling, and reporting
nWhat We Are Looking For
nSeveral years of successful Service Advisor experience in an independent automotive repair shop
nPrevious leadership or shop-management experience
nStrong understanding of automotive repair estimating and parts
nExperience managing people and holding a team accountable
nStrong customer communication and sales skills
nFamiliarity with Tekmetric strongly preferred
nOrganized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
nValid driver’s license
nProven record of helping grow a shop or service department

nCompensation
n$80,000 base salary
n2% commission on total shop sales
nExpected first-year compensation of $100,000+
nUncapped earning potential as the shop grows
