Service Associate (Base Operations)Location: Austin, TX - OnsiteContract | Full time (30+ hours/week)Pay rate: $25.00/hrAvailable Shifts:Sunday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–2:30 PMSunday–Thursday: 2:00 PM–10:30 PMSunday–Thursday: 10:30 PM–6:00 AMTuesday–Saturday: 6:00 AM–2:30 PMJob OverviewWe are hiring a Service Associate (Base Operations) to support daily fleet operations, vehicle readiness, and mission execution. This hands-on role supports autonomous vehicle testing, BaseOps technicians, parts inventory, and drive operations, ensuring vehicles, equipment, and test sites meet operational, regulatory, and safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily fleet operations and mission readiness across multiple test locationsPerform vehicle upkeep including cleaning, fueling/charging, and basic inspectionsEnsure vehicles, tools, and workspaces are organized, clean, and operationally readyProvide logistics support for vehicle movement, staging, and storageAssist with vehicle readiness documentation and compliance paperworkExecute mission prep procedures, including:Launching and verifying software across multiple onboard devicesVerifying software and hardware configurationsDeploying software updates as directedCapturing operational data and escalating issuesSupport spare parts readiness, inventory organization, and transportRequired Qualifications2–4 years of relevant work experience in automotive, fleet operations, maintenance, or technical supportTechnical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in Automotive Repair (preferred)Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR required)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely use carts, dollies, and hand toolsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and climb stairs during shiftsStrong problem-solving, multitasking, and time-management skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environmentProficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and Google WorkspaceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam-orientedAbility to pass background check, drug screen, substance abuse policy, and MVR checkHow to ApplySubmit your updated CV and complete the screening questions.
