Since 1996, MSS has taken pride in retaining some of the best talents in the industry by promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, and empowerment.Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for billing of Service Calls and Maintenance Contracts.Prepare timely and accurate invoices.Review billing accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues related to service charges, payment terms, or account history.Communicate with account managers and customers for accurate invoicing.Coordinate the billing cycle from service delivery to invoice generation.Ensuring timely completion of all billing activities in all accounting software to include customer portals.Work closely with accounts receivable to review/resolve any billing issues.Generate billing reports.Identify opportunities for enhancing billing processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.Assist service coordinators with customer support.Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to timeQualifications and RequirementsKnowledge of basic accounting and billing experience requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently against deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracy with solid follow-up skillsAbility to work well both independently and as part of a teamExperience with any service & accounting software such as Vista is preferred not requiredPhysical Demands: Constant sitting, walking short distances, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and/or below shoulder, handling/grasping documents or office equipment, clear speaking and adequate hearing sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in-person and/or on the telephone, vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data, repetitive motions for computer equipment use, lift 25 lbs. occasionally, 5-10 lbs. frequently to lift/carry/move objects, files and documents.Must successfully pass a background check and drug testWork Environment: Work is performed in an office environment with air conditioning and bright lights.Benefit HighlightsAt MSS, we value our employees by providing a supportive culture with competitive compensation and a benefits package that continues to evolve based on our business's growth and our employees' needs.
