Job description
About the Role:
The parts room attendant
ensures that the parts room remains stocked and organized
.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory control system on a daily basis through material management software, Maintenance Connection
Receive parts and stock to storage areas, verify quantities and deliver invoices to Office Admin for processing
Prepares and verifies kitted PM parts for accuracy as required
Unload parts manually or via forklift, lift truck or pallet jack as needed
Maintain storeroom housekeeping standards
Backup for Office Admin
Performs spot inventory count, research, reports, and make corrections to discrepancies, and update the part record information
Kit parts to ship to other locations
Transport truck wash chemicals to truck wash and fill totes (as needed)
Keep floor dry and spill protection up to code (as needed)
Pick up emergency needs parts from vendors (as needed)
Provide transportation for picking up assets out for outside vendor repair (shuttle driver, as needed)
Annual Inventory
Assist with annual evaluation of parts usage to determine what needs to be stocked, stock quantities and re-order point. Determine what needs to be removed from stock per manager and usage reports
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient in Windows-based software programs
