About the Department:
The Surgical Services Department at Montrose Regional Health is committed to provide quality surgical services and improve the quality of life for our patients. We provide surgical services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
About The Career:
The Service Line Director of Surgical Services leads strategic, growth, budgetary and operational objectives for the Surgical Services department. Functions as the head of the Surgical Services leadership team and is responsible for coordination of the entire health care team in the Surgical Services Department (operating room, pre-op, same day surgery, PACU, pain clinic, infusions, GI suite, pre-admission testing, and scheduling) for adult and pediatric patients. All About You:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a registered nurse degree and a current Colorado license. BSN or plan to achieve preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience, preferably working in an acute care or surgical services setting; progressive previous management experience required; BLS required upon hire; ACLS or ENPC/PALS required within 9 months of hire and current thereafter.
Encompasses a wide range of nursing, psycho-social and medical information which includes nursing process, communications and problem-solving, assessment and prioritizing skills.
