Job description
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or AAS in Nursing with three (3) years of progressively responsible, relevant clinical experience; or
Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration or equivalent Management level experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Preferred:Five (5) years of experience in a health care setting, including involvement with physicians, community, program planning and implementation, and operations.
Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related field
License/Certification
Minimum Required:Current New York State Registered Nurse License or eligible
CPR within three (3) months of hire.
Preferred:Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration and/or clinical practice area).
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated. Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
Employees are required to have reasonable access to transportation to meet work requirements made in the ordinary course of business in a timely and efficient manner.
