Beauregard Equipment Technician Position
Beauregard Equipment, Inc. is seeking a skilled, motivated, and mechanically minded Technician to join our growing team in Presque Isle, ME. We’re looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to quality work. With hands-on experience and manufacturer training, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills and build a rewarding career in the equipment industry.
In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain construction and agricultural equipment while helping keep our customers operating safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Diagnose, repair, and maintain construction and agricultural equipment across a variety of systems, including engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical components
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs
Learn and utilize computer diagnostic systems and manufacturer-specific service tools
Communicate repair recommendations and equipment status with the Service Manager and team
Document all work performed accurately and efficiently
Prepare new and used equipment for sale, including installation of attachments and components
Attend and successfully complete factory and manufacturer training programs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Deliver exceptional service that supports customer uptime and satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
Mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in learning diesel, heavy equipment, and hydraulic systems
Experience in diesel mechanics, heavy equipment repair, automotive repair, hydraulics, or a related field is a plus, but not required
Familiarity with computer diagnostics is an asset; training is available
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to provide and maintain a personal set of tools required for the position

Pay Transparency
The expected hourly pay range for this position is $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience, technical skills, certifications, and overall qualifications. Additional compensation opportunities may be available through overtime and advancement opportunities.
