Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Service Plumber role based in Gillette, WY. The Service Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and related equipment in residential and commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include responding to service calls, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting leaks, installing both water heaters and water softeners and ensuring work complies with relevant codes and safety standards. The role also involves preparing basic job estimates, documenting completed work, maintaining tools and materials, and communicating clearly with customers about findings and recommended solutions. The Service Plumber will collaborate with dispatch and other team members to complete jobs efficiently and uphold company service standards.
Qualifications:
Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures.
Experience working with various types of pipe and fittings, and understanding of basic piping layouts and connections.
Proficiency in maintenance and repair, including routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective work on plumbing related systems.
Effective customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen to concerns, and provide professional, courteous service on-site.
Relevant plumbing license or certification in Wyoming (or ability to obtain), and familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely, lift and carry equipment as needed, and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to travel to customer locations in company vehicles.
High school diploma or equivalent; formal apprenticeship or vocational training in plumbing is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Starting Pay: $28-$30/Hour
