Service Porter Johnson & Towers
Middle River, Maryland
$28-34/hr
Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Service Porter. This position is focused on supporting the daily operations of the branch by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility and lot environment. The Service Porter will assist multiple departments as needed while helping ensure the property, grounds, and work areas are properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Driving commercial vehicles back to customer sites
Road test customer vehicles
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, service shop, parking lot, and surrounding grounds
Remove trash, cardboard, pallets, scrap materials, and other debris from the property
Assist with basic building and grounds maintenance as needed
Move, organize, and stage vehicles and equipment throughout the lot and service areas
Support technicians and service personnel with general shop assistance
Perform pickup and delivery of parts, supplies, and other company-related items as needed
Monitor the facility and report any maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management
Assist with maintaining a safe and professional working environment for employees and customers
Operate company equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Class A or B CDL required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and machinery
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
