Job Title: Lot Porter
nDepartment : Service
nSupervisor: Service Manager
nSummary Description
nMoves cleans and keeps powersports products in sound working condition and assists Service Technicians and the Service Manager as requested.
nDuties and Responsibilities
nnProvide prompt, dependable, high quality service to internal and external customers.
nMaintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
nMaintain clean, efficient work areas and service facility, including dealership property such as work trucks and trailers.
nTransferring units in and out of the Service Department.
nForklift operations.
nWashing/Detailing all units.
nUnloading new units off freight trucks.
nAssembly and PDI of new units.
nMaintaining the entire lot.
nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.

n nQualifications & Job Requirements
nn2+ years of powersports experience preferred.
nKnowledge and experience with sales of powersports and other products and services sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
nMaintain a positive attitude and relationship with all other employees.
nAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
nProficient in meeting deadlines on a timely manner.
nHigh School Diploma or equivalent degree preferred.
nValid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement, and ability to be approved by the dealership’s insurance company based on MVR record.
nPassion for the motorcycling lifestyle and community.
nAttention to detail.
nHigh energy level needed.
n nPhysical Demands
nnRequires the use of both hands.
nFrequently required to bend, stop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift 50lbs of material.
nRequires the ability to balance and push an 800+lb motorcycle and ability to maneuver watercraft while on their trailers.
n nWorking Conditions
nnThe noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
nPotential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
nOccasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
nFrequently works near moving mechanical parts.
n nIn addition to the outlined essential job functions, the employee is required to complete all additional tasks assigned by his/her supervisor, as the supervisor sees fit for the position.
