Job Description
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and repair of petroleum fuel dispensing and storage systems throughout the New York Cityt Metropolitan Area, Westchester County (NY), and Long Island (NY). This field-based role requires daily travel to customer sites and involves troubleshooting, emergency repairs, scheduled preventative maintenance, warranty service, and installation/commissioning of fuel systems.
Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance and repairs on retail/commercial fueling equipment
* Perform troubleshooting and repairs on fuel dispensers, pumps, underground storage tanks, POS consoles, and other equipment as needed
* Diagnose and service Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) systems, including Veeder-Root TLS series consoles, probes, and sensors
* Perform network and connectivity troubleshooting for dispensers, POS systems, and remote monitoring equipment
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service histories
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
* Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and work overtime as needed
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Obtain and maintain certifications from equipment manufacturers
* Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new systems
* Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Skills
* Certifications on Veeder Root, Omntec, or other Automatic Tank Gauges
* Certifications on Point of Sale (POS) or Dispensers
