Service Technician Lawn & GardenSalary Range $20.00 - $28.50 Hourly Position Type Full TimeJob DescriptionThe approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.Purpose:Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or senior technicians. Consistently exhibits Midwest Machinery Company's core purpose and values.Responsibilities:Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) productsParticipates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeMaintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive productsMaintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipmentMaintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsCompletes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignmentsAccounts for all time on a timecard and for all material used in performing assigned dutiesMay perform diagnosis and repair in the fieldInteracts in a positive and respectful manner with customers and fellow employeesParticipates in the After-Hours ProgramActively assists in recruiting service workShares knowledge and skills with other company techniciansMaintains and promotes a safe work environment.
