Assistant ManagerServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson is looking for a driven and experienced Assistant Manager to join our full-time team in Richland, MS. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee operations, inspire a team, help deliver the exceptional cleaning services, forklift and floor scrubbing operations that our clients rely on every day. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making a great impact, we would like to hear from youResponsibilities:Manage and work alongside cleaning crew members during scheduled shifts at commercial cleaning sites.Manage or perform hands on commercial cleaning duties including: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, floor scrubbing, and forklift operations.Ensure that quality control standards are met by inspecting completed workTrain and guide team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocolsCommunicate professionally with clients regarding any site-specific needs, concerns, or special requestsManage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, reporting shortages or maintenance needs as neededEnsure team compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standardsConduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and operational requirementsRequirements:Required management or supervisory experiencePreferred experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, and forklift operationsStrong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality, consistent resultsReliable, punctual, and able to work evenings if neededAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift's durationStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with clientsValid drivers licenseReliable transportationAbout Us:ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson is a trusted name in professional commercial cleaning services, backed by the nationally recognized ServiceMaster brand with decades of industry expertise.
