Servicing Operations AssociateSunStrong Management is a leading independent asset management and servicing platform specializing in residential and commercial solar energy portfolios. The company partners with leading capital providers to optimize clean energy assets at scale, supporting the growth of distributed renewable energy while delivering reliable performance and exceptional customer experience.SunStrong Management is searching for a Servicing Operations Associate to play a critical role in managing the full billing and collections lifecycle for B2B customers. This position supports end-to-end invoicing operations across systems, drives timely collections in a B2B environment, and leads the onboarding and contract review process for new customers and portfolios. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, commercially savvy, and capable of balancing the precision required for financial operations with the interpersonal skills needed to manage escalated collections conversations. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and customer success.Servicing Operations Associate ResponsibilitiesInvoicing & Billing Operations Generate, review, and issue invoices for customersEnsure invoices are accurate, complete, and sent on schedule in accordance with contractual billing termsReconcile billing data against contract terms, meter reads, and system-generated recordsManage billing adjustments, credits, and disputes in coordination with internal stakeholdersMaintain organized invoice records and audit trails within financial systemsCollections & Accounts Receivable Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balancesExecute a structured collections process for overdue accounts, including email, phone, and written outreachEscalate high-risk or non-responsive accounts to management with documented history and recommended actionCustomer Onboarding & Contract Review Assist with the onboarding process for new B2B customers and portfolios, ensuring all required data and documentation is collected prior to activationReview customer contracts to identify billing terms, payment schedules, escalation provisions, and any non-standard clauses that affect invoicing or collectionsTranslate contract terms into system configurations within billing system to ensure accurate automated billingData Management & Quality Control Aggregate customer and account data from multiple sources and validate accuracy before system entryReview billing data sets to identify discrepancies, anomalies, or missing informationSupport data pipeline QC processes to maintain integrity across financial and operational systemsDocument data issues and work cross-functionally to resolve root causesMinimum Requirements5+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or servicing operations in a B2B environmentHands-on experience with invoicing platforms such as Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, or similarDemonstrated experience reviewing and interpreting commercial contracts, including billing, payment, and escalation termsStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies across large data setsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience managing difficult customer conversations professionallyWorking ConditionsOpen-office environmentOr RemotePhysical RequirementsExtended period working at a computer workstationBenefits SunStrong Management offers a rich and affordable Health & Wellness Benefits package that includes:PPO and HDHP Medical Plans, buy-up plans for both Dental and Vision, ancillaries such as Accident, Critical illness, Hospital indemnity, Employer sponsored Short Term and Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Life, and Legal services along with multiple add-ons.Our 401(k) Package includes a Safe Harbor Match of 100% up to the first 4% and 50% on the next 2% with immediate vesting.
