You'll be:Performing start-ups and changeovers of production runs using efficient methods to minimize scrap and downtimeSetting up and operating Single, Dual, and Tri Extrusion production linesCompleting multiple tooling changes during an 8-hour shiftInstalling, adjusting, and troubleshooting various die types, including Streamline, Flat Back, and Button diesSetting up and operating sizing systems such as Profile Plates in Water Tanks, Vacuum Calibration Systems, and Air Racks with PlatesSetting up and monitoring in-line lamination systems (PSA and HATS)Operating and adjusting in-line cutting equipment, including Fly Knife Cutters, Puller/Cutter Combos, Saws, Guillotine Cutters, and Rotary CuttersPerforming in-line punching, laser marking, and inkjet printing operationsResponding promptly to Andon board requests to support production and minimize downtimeAssisting with troubleshooting and training to ensure team members are meeting customer needsParticipating in continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe work area following 6S standardsCommunicating effectively with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and other support teamsThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have a high school diploma or GED (required)Possess previous manufacturing experience (extrusion setup experience preferred)Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipmentCan read and follow work instructions, production documents, and specificationsAre comfortable using basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of internal software systemsCommunicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and managementAre able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shiftCan lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environmentWhat happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
