Setup TechnicianInjection MoldingThis position reports to the Production SupervisorResponsibilities:Setup all scheduled machines in an efficient and economical manner per requirementFollow proper mold installation proceduresEnsure that water lines are connectedCheck for proper water flow through the moldStart up and process mold according molding data sheetWipe molds, blow out water lines, and spray with protectant upon removalStore molds in proper locationMark molds for maintenance, repair and storageKeep mold bases and mold base accessories clean and organizedWork with Maintenance to insure machines are in optimal condition to eliminate unnecessary down timeRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentAssociates Degree in Plastic Molding Injection, or other related field, preferred2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment1+ year of experience in an injection molding environment as a Setup Technician, preferredAbility to work in a team environment and communicate effectivelyAble to read and understand work instructionsMust possess a strong attention to detailMust be able to tolerate long periods of standingAbility to regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.Able to perform basic mathematical computationsGood verbal communication skillsGeneral knowledge of workplace safety, a plusWork Environment – Manufacturing:Chemicals, (See SDS)DustMachineryNoiseProtective Clothing and Equipment May be RequiredCompany Details:Havis is the leading manufacturer of products designed for mobile workers.
