Hiring Sewing Machine Operators ASAP!!This role involves operating an industrial sewing machine to produce hospital room dividers and curtains in a climate-controlled production facility. You will focus on accurate, high-quality sewing and packing tasks while following established production standards and safety procedures.Responsibilities:Operate an industrial sewing machine efficiently and safely throughout the shift.Use the sewing machine to sew hospital room dividers and curtains according to specifications and quality standards.Work with double-needle and other industrial sewing machine configurations as required by production needs.Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure correct dimensions and alignment.Perform packing and sewing tasks, including preparing finished products for shipment or storage.Follow general production procedures and contribute to meeting daily and weekly output goals.Inspect sewn products for accuracy, quality, and consistency, and correct issues as needed.Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area around the sewing station.Sit for extended periods while operating the sewing machine, maintaining focus and attention to detail.Essential Skills:Direct sewing experience, preferably in an industrial or production environment.Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines, including double-needle machines.Ability to use a tape measure accurately to check and verify measurements.Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality stitching and accurate assembly.Capability to follow production instructions and work consistently throughout the shift.Reliability in adhering to scheduled hours: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or Monday-Saturday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience sewing in an industrial setting, such as upholstery or similar production work.Worked in general production or packaging environments.Familiarity with industrial sewing techniques, including industrial sewing and upholstering.Ability to perform both sewing and packing tasks as production demands shift.Why Work Here?You will work in a comfortable, climate-controlled facility that offers a supportive environment and room for growth.The smaller size of the operation means you are not competing with a large number of employees for advancement, giving you a clearer path to develop your skills and take on additional responsibilities over time.Shift: 1st shift- (6:00am 4:30pm) or (6:00am 2:30pm)Pay Rate: $ /hr.Can start ASAP!!Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mint Hill, NC.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
