nReporting to: Chief Nursing OfficerEstimated Compensation Range:Min: $105,372.80 Max: $141,814.40
nnnnnnnnnnnnResponsibilities
nThe Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program Director in conjunction with hospital leadership, is responsible for the organization of SANE services and systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to providing care to patients. This includes, but is not limited to, responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care provided, program evaluation, clinical orientation, mentoring, consultation, and the maintenance of state and national standards of care.
nnProvides timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to the sexual assault victim. This will include a forensic exam, prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, photographic documentation, referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up, support, and participation in legal proceedings. The SANE is expected to follow protocols established by the Medical Director and/or management of the SANE program for which the SANE is employed. The SANE is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. #LK-KH1
nQualifications
nn Current and valid state RN license.
Unrestricted State DL.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Completed approved Illinois SANE training (40 hours of Didactic coursework)
One (1) year of experience as SANE required.
ED experience preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $105,372.80 to $141,814.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
