Job Description
Prime Source is seeking a highly experienced SharePoint Developer to support the development, customization, integration, and administration of enterprise SharePoint solutions for our client. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing and developing scalable applications, workflows, Web Parts, user interfaces, and integrations while supporting the ongoing management and optimization of SharePoint environments.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with SharePoint development, .NET technologies, SQL, web services, and modern web development technologies. The candidate should also have experience working throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical resources.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Expertise:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
20+ years of relevant IT experience
12+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
10+ years of experience writing T-SQL and complex SQL queries
10+ years of experience with SharePoint’s application services framework, including the implementation and use of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services
10+ years of experience with .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5
10+ years of experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
8+ years of experience with SOAP and REST Web Services
6+ years of experience with Visual Studio 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2015
4+ years of experience with SharePoint Site/Master Pages and workflow creation
4+ years of experience with SharePoint Web Part/Visual Web Part creation
4+ years of proficiency with SharePoint Designer and Power Platform
2+ years of experience with Agile development methods
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft web application certification on Framework 4.0 or higher
Excellent knowledge of UI/UX
Experience developing and deploying Event Receivers, Feature Receivers, and Timer Jobs
Experience customizing and configuring Web Parts, Master Pages, Managed Metadata, Content Types, and Sites
Experience with custom application development in SharePoint leveraging Server Object Model
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI
Proficiency with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath Form Services, SharePoint Designer workflow, and Visual Studio
Experience with application performance monitoring and optimization
Knowledge of authorization and authentication methods in SharePoint
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical resources
Ability to integrate SharePoint with other systems and applications using REST APIs, SOAP, and other integration methods
Experience providing SharePoint (SP) support and management administration for client SP site(s)
Extensive knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET Framework, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services
