Job DetailsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for quality of product before final shipmentContinuous improvement in support of department and company goalsSupports, participates and encourages team buildingProvides feedback, both positive and negative, to the team, other related departments, and the supervisorPromotes a positive work environmentTo follow all of Porter Corp's procedures and policiesWork safely and efficientlyStay customer focusedOperating a break press, Shears, Punch, and various other machines/equipmentPerform other duties as assignedEducation and/or ExperienceThis position requires a knowledge of basic sheet metal working methods to ensure a quality product is delivered to all customersWork requires a high school diploma or equivalentTravelThis position requires minimal to no travelComputer SkillsBasic Computer skillsDemonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systemsOther RequirementsKnowledge of Press Breaks, Shears and assorted hand tools (preferred)Blueprint readingVery good interpersonal skillsMust be open-minded to new ideas and conceptsPossesses very good problem-solving skillsMust be self-motivated and results orientedOther SkillsSafe and efficient packaging of finished goods to minimize damageAccuracy and completeness of packaged goods shipped to customerPlayCore is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
