Job Description Job Description The CNC Programmer will specialize in programming laser machines to optimize manufacturing processes, primarily focusing on sheet metal components. This role involves integrating CAD/CAM software with CNC programming and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives. The programmer will work closely with the production team on a daily basis, contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Set up laser CNC machines for production runs
Integrate CAD/CAM data with CNC programming processes
Develop and optimize CNC programs tailored to sheet metal fabrication
Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow and reduce waste
Collaborate daily with production team members to ensure alignment and troubleshoot issues
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC programming
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software platforms (other specified software)
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
Excellent problem-solving skills
High attention to detail
Effective communication skills for daily team interaction
