You'll check for squareness, sheet size accuracy, and surface defects to ensure the printing department gets a perfect product.Active Troubleshooting: Use your mechanical aptitude to "listen" to the machine, adjusting for web breaks, jams, or tension issues on the fly.Inventory & Logistics: Manage roll stock data using basic computer systems and ensure finished pallets are labeled and staged correctly using forklifts or pallet jacks.Safety & Maintenance: Keep a clean, safe workstation and perform basic preventative maintenance. Maintain strict tool accountability and hygiene (GMP) standards to ensure our paperboard packaging remains uncontaminated.Qualifications Mechanically Minded: You enjoy understanding how machines work and aren't afraid to use tools to make adjustments.
