Job description
Sheeter Machine OperatorHours: 2-2-3, 6:00am - 6:00pm OR 6:00pm - 6:00amPay: $21.00 - $22.00 /HRDutiesSet up and operate the sheeter machine to ensure optimal quality and productivity during production runsMonitor machine functions and make necessary adjustments to meet production goals and specificationsPerform all sheeter helper duties, including roll handling, splicing, packaging, labeling, and material prepUse company ERP software and other systems to track orders, production, and materialsRead and interpret job tickets for both internal specifications and customer requirementsServe as the first line of quality assurance by identifying and reporting defects or inconsistencies in materialsMaintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines and protocolsConduct routine preventative maintenance on the sheeter machine to ensure equipment reliability and longevityQualificationsPrevious experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment required; paper industry experience is highly preferredStrong understanding of production processes and machine operationFamiliarity with ERP systems is a plusSolid math and measuring skills to ensure accuracy and product qualityWorking knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing settingAbility to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenanceProficient with basic computer functions and data entry related to production trackingWhat Does Express Offer To You?Weekly paychecks!Vision insuranceMedical planDental plan401(k) retirement savings planLife insuranceReferral bonuses (earn up to $125 for each person you refer to Express!)Why Express Employment Professionals, Appleton WI?Express, Appleton WI placed over 1,350 people in 2024 just in the Appleton area!We provide our associates with excellent comprehensive and competitive benefits!When you apply to us, you apply to 100+ companies in the Fox Valley!Over 170 people were hired to a permanent position in 2024.
