Valley River Humane Society in Murphy, NC is seeking a Shelter Manager to lead a shelter that serves cats, dogs, and the people who care for them. This hands‑on leadership role offers real responsibility and a visible impact in our 60‑year commitment to compassionate care.
You will oversee daily operations, train and guide staff and volunteers, coordinate intake and adoptions, maintain accurate records, and uphold health, safety, and animal welfare standards.
