Job description
City of Jacksonville seeks a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join the Animal Care & Protective Services team. The Veterinarian will examine and triage animals entering the facility, develop treatment plans for emergencies, perform surgeries, and monitor housed animals.
The role requires DEA licensure within six months, a Florida license in good standing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shelter. Strong communication with owners, staff, and volunteers is essential.
