What We're Looking For
Amazing Shift Leaders who set the tone, lead by example and make every guest feel like they belong. In this role, you'll:
Make every guest feel welcome with responsive, friendly and genuine service
Lead by example and bring Urbane Cafe's values to life every shift
Keep operations running smoothly — right person, right place, right time
Motivate your team to show up and perform at their best
Manage breaks so every team member gets what they're owed, on time
Delegate tasks fairly while still pulling your own weight
Treat every team member with dignity, consistency and respect
Follow up on delegated tasks and hold the standard
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent
Great communication and people skills
Basic math skills
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs

Our Story
Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. We craft gourmet sandwiches, farm fresh salads and unique bowls using refined local ingredients — all served with a smile in a warm, vibrant atmosphere.

Requirements
Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership
Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
