The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in the operation ofa PapaJohns restaurant to ensure high quality products and customer service are delivered to ensure restaurant profitability.Other responsibilities include the management of operations including the execution of all Company policies, procedures,programsand systems.Ensure compliance with all federal,stateand local laws and ethical business practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including, but not limited to, dough management, accuracy and proper portioning.Performs assignedwork stationduties such as making quality products, follows all productpreparationsproceduresandmaintainsestablished product holding times.
Consistently contributes to achieving the Companys product goal.Commitsto meeting the needs and expectations of the restaurants customers, minimizes customercomplaintsand responds appropriately to customer needs. Follows all policies and procedures as outlined in our TM handbook including, but not limited to, image (including car topper for delivery drivers), attendance,safetyand security.
Exemplifies andexhibitsthe Core Values,maintainsa positive attitude, works well with others and is flexible and adaptable to change.
Ensures adequate shift coverage forrestaurant. Provides immediate feedback and corrects problems whenidentified. Maintains product quality, customer service, and performance responsibilities (such as MCE readiness, food/labor costs, restaurant cleanliness, etc.) within acceptable standards,followsall policies and procedures related to shift management.
Contribute to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals by accuratelyutilizingthe FOCUS System.Execute cash management duties.Assist in the management of adequate inventorylevelsusing the companys systems and guidelines to minimize loss.
Education, Experience & Certifications
High School diploma or GED preferred
Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
Previousrestaurant shift lead experience preferred
Successful and stable employment history
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to work long hours (32+ hoursgenerally required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights,
weekends, and as emergencies arise
Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.
