This role is based in Fort Pierce, Florida and reports to the Distribution Center Manager.Do not miss the opportunity to join a diverse group of people-centric professionals, thought leaders and rapid thinkers, entrepreneurs in spirit and status quo-fighters!Job SummaryAs a Shipper, you'll play a critical role in ensuring customer orders and transfers are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time.In this role, you'll work closely with our Traffic Department and cross-functional teams to coordinate shipments, manage transportation logistics, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. As a key point of contact for customers and drivers, you'll represent IPEX with professionalism while helping maintain our high standards of service and quality.Principal ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and assign orders as they are released, considering delivery timelines and destination requirementsMaintain picking sequences based on order priority and warehouse zoning to support efficient operationsManage and prioritize urgent shipments and customer pick-upsUtilize our Transportation Management System (TMS) to select the most effective carrier solutionsDispatch orders and transfers in accordance with IPEX service and quality standards.Monitor and track shipments through phone and online systemsRespond to customer inquiries and provide updates on orders and deliveriesServe as the primary contact for drivers and customer pick-ups at the shipping deskPrepare and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) accurately and efficiently, ensuring all documentation is completeMaintain organized and compliant records and filing systems, including BOLs, Sales Orders, RMAs, and other transportation documents in accordance with C-TPAT requirementsQualifications & ExperienceCollege diploma or degree, and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar shipping, logistics, or transportation roleStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and WordExcellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demandsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyIPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant's accessibility needs due to disability.
