Shipper/Receiver – International ShippingNesco Resource is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for a growing manufacturing company in Lowell, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced shipping professional with a strong background in international shipping, export documentation, and HTS classification. If you're detail-oriented, work well independently, and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment, we'd love to hear from you!Your Daily Activities Will Include:Prepare and process domestic and international outbound shipmentsEnsure shipping documentation, labeling, and packaging are accurate and compliantClassify products using HTS codesPrepare commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other export documentsCoordinate shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriersReceive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and report discrepanciesMaintain inventory records and process shipping transactions using SAP or a similar ERP systemFollow company procedures for packaging, labeling, and material handlingAssist with Dangerous Goods (DG) shipment procedures when applicableMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving areaIdentify shipping issues and recommend process improvementsRequired:3–5 years of shipping/receiving experience with a strong emphasis on international shipping and international documentsExperience with HTS code classification and export documentationSAP or similar ERP experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacksHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred:Dangerous Goods (IATA/DOT/IMDG) certificationExperience in a life sciences, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environmentKnowledge of export compliance regulations (EAR/ITAR) is a plusPreemployment drug test and background check requiredIf You Have International Shipping Experience And Are Looking For Your Next Opportunity, Apply Today!Please send resume to: Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Nesco Resource is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
