Shipper / ReceiverElmet Technologies is hiring a Shipper / Receiver to join our team in Lewiston, Maine. Help keep materials moving. Elmet offers competitive pay, bonuses, benefits, and opportunities to grow.$20.50–$24.00 per hour$250 perfect-attendance bonus every month — up to $3,000 per yearQuarterly production bonus of up to 9%, based on company performance4% company match on retirement savingsBenefits starting Day OneThree medical plan optionsDental and vision coverageCompany-paid life insuranceCompany-paid short-term and long-term disabilityPaid time offPaid company holidaysTuition assistance$1,000 employee referral bonusInternal growth opportunitiesWhat You'll DoAs a Shipper / Receiver, you'll help make sure incoming and outgoing materials are handled safely, accurately, and on time.During a typical shift, you'll:Prepare customer orders and materials for shipmentBox, package, skid, and weigh outgoing productsLoad and unload trucks safelySupport shipping needs across our production areasMake sure materials are properly prepared and protected for transportationUse forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipmentUse packaging equipment such as banders, staplers, nail guns, scales, and hand toolsMaintain accurate shipping and receiving informationComplete required transactions and documentationFollow established ISO, quality, and shipping proceduresKeep the shipping area clean, safe, and organizedCoordinate with teammates and production areas to keep materials movingSupport additional shipping and receiving activities as neededRequirementsYou Could Be a Great Fit!We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.You could be a strong fit if you:Have a high school diploma or GEDHave experience in manufacturing, shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or material handlingCan perform basic mathAre comfortable working with industrial and material-handling equipmentCan follow established shipping, quality, and safety proceduresCommunicate clearly with coworkers and other departmentsCan work independently when neededWork well as part of a teamCan stay organized when priorities changeHave a strong safety recordHave reliable and predictable attendanceAre willing to learn new systems, equipment, and processesPrevious shipping experience is preferred, but it isn't the only way to qualify. Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, material handling, production, or another industrial environment can provide a strong foundation for this role.Equipment You May Work WithThis is a hands-on shipping role, and you'll use a variety of equipment to prepare and move materials.
