Shipping And Receiving AssociateStarpath develops and manufactures the technologies that will enable humans to live on the Moon and Mars. Today, we are building robotic systems that locally produce the essential commodities a lunar civilization will require at extreme scale: water, power, and oxygen. Our ultimate goal is to build and operate a self-sustaining city on Mars.Starpath is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Shipping and Receiving Associate to support the movement of materials, components, and flight hardware through our facility.You will own the day-to-day receiving and shipping process, ensuring that incoming materials are accurately documented, properly handled, and delivered to the right teams. You will also prepare outgoing shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and help keep our stockroom and receiving areas organized.The right person for this role takes pride in accuracy, moves with urgency, and understands that reliable material flow is critical to keeping engineering and production on schedule.ResponsibilitiesReceive, unload, inspect, and document incoming materials, components, equipment, and suppliesSafely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipmentLoad and unload delivery vehicles while protecting materials from damageVerify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentationIdentify and escalate shortages, damaged materials, documentation errors, and other discrepanciesAccurately record receipts, material movements, and shipment details in the company's inventory or ERP systemLabel, organize, store, and distribute materials to the appropriate teams and locationsCoordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to resolve receiving issuesPrepare domestic and international shipments, including packaging, labeling, weighing, and completing required documentationSelect appropriate packaging methods to protect delicate, high-value, or mission-critical hardwareSchedule pickups and coordinate with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight providersSupport inventory counts, cycle counts, material kitting, and stockroom organizationMaintain a clean, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving areaFollow procedures for handling sensitive, controlled, hazardous, or electrostatic-discharge-sensitive materialsHelp improve shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling processes as the company growsRequired Qualifications1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, logistics, or a related roleExperience safely operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping environmentAbility to obtain and maintain company-required forklift certificationStrong attention to detail and a consistent record of accurate documentationExperience reviewing purchase orders, packing slips, shipping labels, and carrier documentationAbility to use inventory, ERP, or warehouse-management systemsBasic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and standard workplace softwareAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentClear communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teamsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and a clean driving recordAbility to work full-time on-sitePreferred QualificationsCurrent forklift operator certificationExperience in aerospace, automotive, defense, advanced manufacturing, or another hardware-focused environmentExperience handling precision components, electronics, or high-value hardwareFamiliarity with lot, batch, serial-number, and revision-controlled inventoryExperience with domestic and international shipping documentationFamiliarity with hazardous-material shipping requirementsExperience working in an ERP systemPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move materials for extended periodsAbility to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipmentAbility to work around warehouse, manufacturing, and testing activitiesWillingness to work occasional overtime or adjusted hours when required to support critical shipmentsOVERTIME PAY ELIGIBLECan opt into healthcare benefits if full-timeEAR Requirements:To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, you must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.Equal Opportunity:Starpath is an equal opportunity employer.
