Job description
Shipping & Receiving AssociateThe Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for packaging and processing finished small, specialized rubber product for shipment to customers. Responsibilities also include processing required department paperwork and shipping documents and handling of incoming raw materials.Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities:Count samples of product, weigh, and calculate total number of partsPrepare products for shipping according to Da/Pro and customer specifications, including packaging for transportation, weighing and measuring packagesEnsure shipping documents are complete, accurate and processed appropriately at time of shipmentEnter information into computer as neededReceive raw material, log, and deliver material via hand truck to nearby building/departmentPerform other duties as assigned.Shipping & Receiving Requirements:Occasionally: sit, push/pull up to 50 lbs., reach above shoulder with both hands, lift/carry 10-50 lbs. Frequently: stand, walk, reach outward with both hands, count and calculate, lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Constantly: hand/finger motion, movement and manipulation
