Shipping And Receiving ClerkPenske Logistics is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.Our associates enjoy PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, 401K, and numerous Associate Discounts!Position Details:Monday to Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm$21.00 base rateMajor Responsibilities:Various office and administrative duties, which may include handling accounts payable/receivable and collections, office supplies, maintaining database and miscellaneous reportingAudit of logs and trip reports and maintain of files, customer service interaction, resolution of driver equipment requestsInvolve yourself in the safety team and engineering team as required by locationPrioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirementsAbility to maintain confidentiality is essentialCommunication with drivers, clamp truck operators, customers on site, and leadership teamDaily use of Outlook, Excel, and Blue YonderRespond to inventory issues from operators on the floorEnsuring system count matches physical inventoryResolve discrepancies at location and pallet levelLook for missing product in storage locationsUpdate WMS to match physical through various methods/ Research and document root causeAccurately receive inventoryWork with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventoryAudit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentationsData setup and validationAccurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applicationsAudit existing data for inaccurate dataManage unsalable inventory to resolutionAccurately identify, log, and document potential damage.Accurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required.Ensure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution centerProcess analysis and documentationAssist with daily and weekly reportsAssist in development and implementation of special projects and tasksAbility to be certified on the PIT equipment (training will be provided)Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisionQualifications:• 1-2 years of general office experience required• 2+ years of warehouse clerk experience preferred• High School diploma or equivalent required• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required• AS400 experience preferred• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.Physical Requirements:-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
