Job description
Shipping and Receiving ClerkWe are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Parts team! This position assists in processing paperwork, preparing shipments, managing inventory, tracking shipments and verifying receipt of shipments. Delivering packages to proper departments, preparing packages for shipment, while being accurate, reliable, accountable, timely, and ability to work well independently. This employee will also assist and work the parts counter as needed, giving excellent customer service. The candidate must have a clean driving record, work well with others and perform other duties as needed.The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and may have previous experience with automotive parts and accessories. They must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong customer service and organizational skills and strong computer skills.Responsibilities:Monitors parts inventory and maintains storage area in good conditionMaintains accurate sales documentationReceiving incoming shipments and checking for accuracyPulling, packaging and shipping outgoing parts ordersInventory maintenance including stocking and organizing parts and accessoriesEnsures safe and on-time delivery of company vehicles and following all company procedures and standardsComplies with and enforces all safety policies and proceduresMaintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasksAlways obeys posted speed limits and all other rules of the roadCompletes any reports or logsPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements:Must be 18 years oldUnrestricted driver's license and clean driving recordAble to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles a plusAble to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as neededHighly professional and dependableSafety and customer service orientedDealership experience a plusHelpful attitude and friendly demeanorOutstanding communication skillsProfessional appearance and work ethicAbility to read and comprehend instructionsCompensation:Competitive Pay Based on ExperienceMedical BenefitsPaid VacationHolidaysProfessional WorkplaceNon-Smoking WorkplaceDrug Free WorkplaceOpportunity for AdvancementDirect Deposit401(k) with Company Match
