Shipping and Receiving ClerkThe candidate will be responsible for working in a dynamic warehouse setting, where tasks involve lifting items weighing up to 20-30 lbs intermittently. Initially, training will be conducted on the first shift for 1-2 months, followed by cross-training across various job sites before transitioning to the second shift.ResponsibilitiesWork efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Lift and handle items weighing up to 30 lbs.Participate in training on first shift, followed by cross-training.Transition to second shift post-training.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in warehouse or production environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to adapt to various job sites and shift timings.Familiarity with production line processes.Why Work Here?This position offers contract-to-hire opportunities and emphasizes internal promotions. Employees must be prepared for heavy lifting up to 30 lbs. Training occurs from 7 AM to 4 PM, with shifts from 4 PM to 12 AM (including a $1/hr shift differential) once transitioned to the second shift, and from 12 AM to 8 AM with the same differential. The workweek extends Monday through Friday, with frequent Saturday shifts.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
