Job description
Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring on-time shipments, and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise shipping and receiving personnel
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, documentation, and inventory transactions
Ensure order accuracy, inventory integrity, and timely deliveries
Manage warehouse safety, OSHA compliance, and employee training
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
Track and report KPIs including productivity, shipping accuracy, and on-time performance
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to resolve logistics issues
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
5+ years of supervisory experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations preferred
Experience with inventory management and ERP systems
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation
Forklift certification is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
$65,000 - $85,000 base salary
