Job description
Shipping Order Puller And LoaderShipping order puller and loader. Interpret daily orders, pull and package orders for staging and/or loading on to trailers. Accurately process paperwork to complete orders through the system. Packaging and loading orders to ensure the maximum utilization of truck space without compromising quality of parts.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be forklift certified and be able to safely operate a forkliftWill be responsible for the accurate pulling, packaging, and staging of orders to meet on time delivery and quality targets and in a manner which prevents damage during transportMust be able to accurately record, scan and maintain paperworkMust have basic mathematical skillsMust have basic computer skills including Microsoft ExcelMust be able to physically perform job duties, with requires heaving lifting with or without accommodationMust have a good attendance recordThis position has a major emphasis on quality and accuracyMust be able to work the necessary overtime when required, which may include weekendsMust be able to work any shift, which may include weekendsMust be willing to perform other duties as requiredQualificationsMust be forklift certifiedBasic Microsoft office applications and company operating and or MRP/SAP systemsTravelMinimal to no travel requirementsLanguage SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Reasoning AbilityMust have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to use a scanner and must be able to use company operating systems and basic Microsoft applicationsOther SkillsMust be forklift certifiedPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
