Material Handling JobMaterial Handling ResponsibilitiesLoads or unloads vehicles during deliveryPlaces incoming materials in the proper areas for production or office usePrepares orders for delivery including packaging, crating, securing loads appropriately, etc.Uses various material handling equipment including pallet jacks, fork lift, side loader, etc. to move raw materials or product throughout the building or to prepare orders for deliveryAdministrative ResponsibilitiesPrepare records of orders shipped (make up bills of lading, post weight and shipping charges, keep files of shipping records)Receive incoming shipments of materials or orders to the company (verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, report damaged goods and shortages, routes good to the proper departmentsPerform other related duties and assignments as required.QualificationsBehaviorsPreferredDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
