Job TitleSHIFT HOURS: 11:30 PM - 7:00 AM MONDAY - FRIDAYSHIFT PAY: $20.65 AN HOURBENEFITS AVAILABLE DAY ONEPRIMARY FUNCTION:Primarily responsible for providing general clerical support to the assigned production department(s). Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:Under general supervision, provide clerical support to department (i.e. update and distribute shift production report, track employee absences and occurrences, updates calendars, etc.)Enter required data into correct computer system, retrieve upon requestFile all department paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerPerform production work as neededAdhere to safe work practices, policies and procedures, maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality; report any condition or practice that may adversely affect food safety, food quality and/or personnel safetyPerform all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.Other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not requiredBasic math skills and computer skillsEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivateAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hoursSound work ethic, honesty and moral characterSAFETY REQUIREMENTS:Follow departmental and company safety policies and programsMust wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:May work in wet and cold (45ºF, 4ºC) or hot and dusty (95ºF, 35ºC) environmentWill be exposed to noise of > 85 decibels, CO2 and moving production equipmentAbility to lift 10 lbsAbility to frequently kneel, crawl, stoop, and bendWork around raw, live animal odorsWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
