Job description
Shipping ClerkThe Shipping Clerk will support the Frozen Warehouse Manager with keeping goods moving into and out of the warehouse. This is a second shift position from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm and includes working every other Saturday.Job Responsibilities:Support manager with day-to-day management of shipping schedule;Run reports and provide status updates as requested;Check in truck drivers and route to specific loading lanes or to dropped trailers in the yard ready for collection;Print product pick lists and shipping labels for warehouse team;Support manager with all administrative activities related to shipping function including but not limited to creation of bills of lading, stock transfer orders, invoice/billing, scheduling or rescheduling deliveries, communications with retail partners, corporate team, or carriers regarding loads;Completes forms and documents timely;Assists with audits;Perform other required tasks as assigned.Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required;Ability to plan and communicate frequently;Ability to follow direction;Great written and verbal communication skills;Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel);Advanced Excel skills preferred;Ability and desire to learn/use our ERP system;Critical thinking and the ability to problem solve/troubleshoot challenges.
