Job description
Warehouse Logistics SpecialistThis role serves as the final department to handle products before they leave the facility, ensuring that all shipments are accurately prepared, documented, and loaded. The position involves operating industrial equipment, managing shipping and receiving processes, and performing computer-based data entry to support an efficient and safe logistics operation within a large automotive manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesServe as the final department to handle products prior to leaving the facility, ensuring accuracy and quality before shipment.Operate industrial equipment to move, load, receive, and prepare shipments in a safe and efficient manner.Print shipping labels, scan shipments, and send advance shipment notifications (ASNs) as required.Pick and load orders for tug operators and ensure correct routing of materials.Deliver supplied parts to production lines and transport finished parts to storage or staging areas.Enter receiving information and related documentation into computer-based data entry systems with a high level of accuracy.Perform shipping and receiving tasks including loading, unloading, verifying, and staging materials.Handle packing, picking, material handling, and loading activities as needed to support warehouse and logistics operations.Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment while operating forklifts, tuggers, order pickers, or reach trucks.Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility standards.The organization offers a strong total rewards package that emphasizes health, financial security, and career growth.
